Design For Sustainability
The raw materials and the natural resources, available on our planet, are limited and products must be created, having the least harmful as possible impact on the environment. In all the products we create we apply the LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) procedures. The entire life cycle of the product, from the raw materials used, to its disposal through the recycling process, is scientifically evaluated and guides the Product Creation.The equivalent CO2 (CARBON FOOTPRINT) emitted during production, the energy used during the production cycle or in logistical processes, the waste materials resulting during the production process and packaging: everything is taken into consideration to accompany Companies to reach the best EPD (ENVIRONMENTAL PRODUCT DECLARATION).
Design For Additive Manufacturing
Since the beginning of the industrial revolution, products have mainly been made by cutting, drilling and removing parts from a piece of raw material.
In modern time, CNC machines are used to create products or part of them.
This type of technology usually requires to use a greater amount of material than the finished parts or product.
This creates an excessive consumption of raw materials, waste during the production process, greater weight for the parts or finished products and not a perfect Topological Optimization of the parts.
With the additive manufacturing process, FDM, SLA, SLS, BINDER JETTING and so on, it is possible to create parts and products that are impossible to manufacture with CNC machines: lighter, stronger, more durable, with more functions and more sustainable for the environment.

Prototypes and Pre-series Production
The Design process cannot be limited to the project alone: it is necessary to evaluate what has been designed with a prototype and simulate the production process through the creation of a pre-series, so as to test the market and develop the definitive production line.
The prototypes are made with various materials: wood, metal, plastic, fabric, resin, biocompatible material; chemical-physical research is carried out to define any composite materials most suitable for final production; AI and IOT simulations are conducted to find the best autonomous features of the product.
